What the QX50 Badge Represents

QX50 is Infiniti's compact luxury crossover, sitting in the brand's alphanumeric naming system alongside sedans like the Q50 and Q60. The tailgate badge is one of the clearest ways to identify the model from behind, and this collection recreates that lettering as a custom emblem. The QX50 has gone through a significant redesign during its production run, which changed the crossover's proportions and, with them, the exact tailgate area available for badge placement.

Placement and Fitment

Tailgate Mounting

The featured emblem is designed for the rear tailgate or trunk lid, using the MIXT finish shown, and can be resized to match earlier or later QX50 generations.

Materials and Finish

Decoinfabric produces this badge with a mixed gloss/matte MIXT treatment by default, with gloss black, chrome, and color-matched paint available on request. The materials are selected to resist the fading and pitting that can affect lower-quality badges over time.

Installation Guidance

Before mounting, the tailgate area should be cleaned and free of wax or polish residue so adhesive backing bonds securely. If your QX50 already has mounting holes from a factory badge, Decoinfabric can build the replacement to align with that existing pattern.

Comparing Trim Levels

Infiniti has offered the QX50 with various trim-specific badging over its production run, and some owners use a custom tailgate emblem to simplify or standardize the rear badging after a trim swap, a repaint, or simply to clean up a look they find too busy. Because the base QX50 wordmark itself does not change between trims, this emblem works as a straightforward like-for-like replacement regardless of which trim level your crossover was originally built as. Buyers replacing a full set of exterior badges at once, including QX50 lettering plus separate Infiniti winged emblems, should mention that upfront so Decoinfabric can quote everything together with matching finishes.

Before You Order

Let Decoinfabric know your QX50 model year and whether the emblem should replace an existing badge footprint or apply as an additional accent, since tailgate hole patterns can vary across generations.
