What the E300 Badge Represents

On Mercedes-Benz vehicles, model badges like E300 combine the model line (E-Class) with a number that historically referenced engine displacement, though on many modern cars it now signals a trim or output tier rather than a literal 3.0-liter engine. The E300 badge has appeared on both gasoline and hybrid E-Class variants over several generations, making it one of the more recognizable trunk badges in the Mercedes-Benz range. Owners often replace a faded, scratched, or missing factory badge, or swap in a different model number as a personal styling choice.

Fitment and Placement

The E300 emblem shown in this collection is built as a trunk lid / tailgate badge in the "MIXT" 3D style, designed to mount using the factory adhesive-backed or pin-mounted method common to Mercedes-Benz trunk badges. Because it is custom-made rather than pulled from a parts bin, Decoinfabric can size and shape it to match the trunk lid contour of different E-Class body styles (sedan, wagon, coupe) and adjacent generations, and can also produce E300 lettering for grille or fender applications on request.

Materials, Construction, and Mounting

Badges are built from durable materials such as ABS plastic or metal with chrome, gloss black, or matte finishes, using the same adhesive-tape or stud-mount hardware found on OEM trunk badges so installation does not require drilling. Because every badge is made to order, buyers can request finish, size, and backing changes before production.

Before You Order

Confirm your exact trunk lid curvature and existing mounting holes (if any) so the badge profile matches, double check whether your car uses adhesive-only or pin-and-adhesive mounting, and let Decoinfabric know if you want E300 lettering resized to match a factory data plate. This is an aftermarket product built to order and is not sold, endorsed, or licensed by Mercedes-Benz.
