Brelok z logo z roku 1936

What the 1936 Logo Represents

1936 is widely cited as the year tied to Toyota's earliest company history and its first vehicle script, before the brand adopted the modern oval logo used today. Heritage-styled badges referencing this era appeal to Toyota enthusiasts and collectors who want a nod to the brand's origins rather than its current corporate mark. We present this as a heritage-style design rather than an exact historical reproduction, since we cannot independently verify every detail of the original 1936-era artwork against Toyota's own archives.

Placement and Fitment

This item is a keychain, meant to be carried on a key ring rather than mounted to the vehicle, which makes it a low-commitment way to show Toyota heritage pride without any installation. Because it is a small accessory rather than a body part, there is no fitment concern by model - any Toyota owner or fan can carry one.

Materials, Finish, and Mounting

We build this keychain in steel for durability and a solid, quality feel, with the 1936-style Toyota script cut or etched into the design. It attaches to a standard keyring, making it easy to swap onto a new set of keys or give as a gift.

Before You Order

Let us know if you want the keychain in a different metal finish or paired with a modern Toyota logo instead of the heritage design, and confirm the keyring style you prefer. This is a fan-inspired, aftermarket accessory - it is not manufactured, endorsed, or licensed by Toyota Motor Corporation.

A Note on Sourcing and Verification

Because detailed documentation on Toyota's earliest company history is not something we can independently verify against Toyota's own corporate archives, we present the 1936 date and script styling as a heritage-inspired design intended to evoke that era rather than a certified historical reproduction. If exact historical accuracy matters for a collector display or restoration project, we recommend cross-referencing any claims with Toyota's official corporate history resources before relying on our interpretation for anything beyond a personal keepsake. That said, the keychain remains a popular, low-cost way for Toyota enthusiasts to carry a nod to the brand's origins, and we are happy to adjust the script styling, metal finish, or keyring hardware if you have a specific reference image you would like us to work from instead of our standard heritage rendering.
