Emblème LED de plaque d'immatriculation logo Sportage

What the Sportage Badge Represents

The Sportage has been part of Kia's lineup since the early 1990s and remains one of its most recognized nameplates, spanning several generations of compact SUV design. Because the model name carries real brand recognition, owners like to reinforce it at the rear of the vehicle with an illuminated badge that lights up after dark, adding a personalized touch beyond what the factory trim provides.

Placement and Fitment

This badge is designed to mount at the rear license plate area, either integrated with the plate frame or mounted adjacent to it, and wired into a low-voltage LED circuit. Because it is custom-built rather than a direct OEM part, it can be adapted to different plate mounting styles used across Sportage generations and other Kia models - tell us your exact model year when ordering.

Materials, Finish, and Mounting

We build this badge from durable ABS or acrylic with an integrated LED light source, available in different light colors and face finishes. Mounting typically uses adhesive backing or the existing license plate frame hardware, and the wiring taps into a simple 12V circuit that most installers can complete in under an hour.

Before You Order

Confirm your Kia Sportage model year and rear plate mounting style, and decide on your preferred LED color and badge finish. This is an aftermarket accessory, not manufactured or endorsed by Kia Corporation, and should be treated as a custom styling upgrade rather than an OEM replacement part.

Matching Sportage Badging to Your Trim Level

Kia has offered the Sportage across several trim levels and generations, each with slightly different exterior badging conventions, so if your goal is a factory-consistent look, it helps to send us a photo of your current rear bumper or plate area so we can match the mounting style precisely. Many Sportage owners pair an illuminated license plate badge like this one with other after-dark accents such as puddle lights or a light bar, and we can tune the LED color temperature to match those existing accessories rather than defaulting to a plain white. Because installation involves tapping into a low-voltage circuit, most owners have it professionally wired in under an hour, and the badge itself is designed to be removable without damaging the factory plate frame if you decide to sell the vehicle or switch to a different accessory later. Let us know your plate frame style so we can confirm a clean fit before we start fabrication.
