What the XC40 Badge Represents

XC40 is Volvo's designation for its smallest crossover SUV, sitting below the XC60 and XC90 in the lineup and built on Volvo's compact modular platform. Owners fit this tailgate badge to replace a worn or missing factory emblem, to refresh the rear of the car after a repaint or trunk lid swap, or to add a cleaner aftermarket badge look. This emblem is produced independently by Decoinfabric and is not manufactured, sold, or endorsed by Volvo Car Corporation - it is built to resemble the factory design as a custom accessory.

Placement and Fitment

The badge is shaped for the rear tailgate, in the location Volvo uses for its own XC40 emblem, and mounts with adhesive backing so no drilling is required. Because Volvo tailgate curvature varies slightly between the XC40, XC60, and XC90, confirm your exact model when ordering so the badge can be matched or adapted accordingly.

Materials, Finish, and Mounting

These badges are built from durable ABS plastic or a metal composite, offered in gloss black, chrome, or matte finishes, with a pre-applied weatherproof adhesive pad. The construction is intended to hold up to regular washing, sun exposure, and highway driving without lifting or discoloring.

Before You Order

Confirm your XC40 model year, since Volvo has updated trim and badge styling over the car's production run, and let Decoinfabric know if the badge is replacing an existing one so surface prep can be discussed. If you would like a matching grille badge or floor mat badge set alongside the tailgate emblem, mention this when ordering.
