What the Mustang Horse Skeleton Design Represents

Ford's running-horse emblem is one of the most recognized badges in the automotive world, and it has inspired countless fan and aftermarket reinterpretations over the years. The "Horse Skeleton" version in this collection reimagines that silhouette as an x-ray-style skeletal horse, popular with owners who want an aggressive, custom look rather than the stock pony badge. It is an original stylistic take, not a Ford factory design or licensed alternate logo.

Placement and Fitment Guidance

The featured product is an illuminated LED radiator grille emblem, designed to replace or overlay the factory grille badge location on a Ford Mustang. Because it includes LED illumination, installation involves running a power feed (typically tapped from the parking or daytime running light circuit) in addition to the physical mount.

Materials, Finish and Mounting

These emblems are built with a metal or ABS skeleton-horse badge face over an integrated LED light source, available in white, amber, or RGB lighting options and various finish colors for the badge itself. Mounting uses the factory grille badge clips or adhesive backing, depending on your Mustang's grille design.

Before You Order

Tell us your Mustang's generation and grille style so we can size the emblem and mounting tabs correctly, plus your preferred LED color and badge finish. Since illumination wiring varies by model year, we recommend having a photo of your factory grille badge and its mounting area ready when you contact us.

FAQ

Is the Horse Skeleton a real Ford logo? No, it is a custom novelty design created by Decoinfabric and is not produced, licensed, or endorsed by Ford Motor Company.

Does the LED version require professional installation? Basic electrical knowledge helps since the light needs a power source, but many owners install it themselves using our wiring guidance.

Can I get this design without the LED lighting? Yes, contact us for a non-illuminated version of the same skeleton-horse badge.
