What the C43 Badge Represents

C43 is the model designation Mercedes-AMG applies to the mid-tier performance version of the C-Class, typically paired with a twin-turbo engine, AMG-tuned suspension, and sportier styling. Owners use the C43 tailgate badge to mark a car that has been fitted with AMG-look trim, or to replace a worn, faded, or missing rear emblem after a repaint, wrap, or trunk lid swap. The badge in this collection is produced by Decoinfabric and is not manufactured, sold, or endorsed by Mercedes-Benz AG or Mercedes-AMG GmbH - it is an aftermarket accessory made to resemble the factory design.

Placement and Fitment

The C43 emblem is built for the rear tailgate/trunk lid, in the same location Mercedes uses for its factory model badges. It uses adhesive backing so installation does not require drilling into the trunk lid. Because tailgate badge mounting points are broadly similar across recent Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, this badge design can typically be resized or reworked for a different Mercedes model or model year on request - just confirm your exact vehicle when ordering.

Materials, Finish, and Mounting

Decoinfabric builds these badges from durable ABS plastic or metal composite, finished in gloss black, chrome, or matte black depending on the option chosen, with a weatherproof adhesive pad already applied. The finish is intended to withstand normal outdoor exposure, washing, and highway driving in the same way a factory-applied badge would.

Before You Order

Confirm the exact curve and spacing of your tailgate panel, since Mercedes body styles vary slightly between generations and this affects how flush a 3D badge sits. If you are replacing an existing badge, clean the surface of old adhesive residue before applying the new one. Since this is a custom shop, you can also request the C43 lettering paired with other trim, such as a matching grille badge or a full front-and-rear set, instead of ordering pieces separately.
