What the ES300 Badge Represents

ES300 designates a specific engine and trim configuration of the Lexus ES sedan, Toyota's entry into the North American luxury market. Across several ES generations, the 300 badge signaled the 3.0-liter V6 powertrain fitted to that model year, distinguishing it from later ES250, ES330, and ES350 variants. Because factory tailgate badges fade, get damaged, or go missing over decades of ownership, ES300 owners frequently look for a faithful replacement to keep their car's rear styling intact, or for a custom finish that improves on the stock look.

Placement and Fitment

This emblem is designed for the trunk lid or tailgate, in the location where Lexus originally mounted the ES300 script, listed here as the "MIXT" mixed-finish type. Exact mounting hole spacing can vary slightly across ES generations, so measure your existing badge footprint (or the adhesive outline left behind if the original is missing) before ordering, and let us know your model year so we can match the original proportions.

Materials, Finish, and Mounting

We build these badges from rigid, weather-resistant materials such as ABS or metal-backed composite, finished in chrome, black, or a two-tone mixed finish to mirror the original ES300 look. Mounting uses factory-style plastic pins combined with automotive adhesive, so installation does not require permanent modification to the tailgate.

Before You Order

Confirm your exact Lexus ES generation and model year, check the space available on your tailgate against your current or missing badge, and decide whether you want a stock-accurate finish or a custom color. This is an aftermarket accessory, not a Lexus-manufactured part, and it is not endorsed by Lexus or Toyota Motor Corporation.

Comparing ES300 to Other Lexus ES Trims

Lexus revised the ES lineup's badging several times as engine options changed, so an ES300 script differs in wording and sometimes in proportions from the ES330 and later ES350 badges that replaced it as Lexus moved to larger displacement V6 engines. If you are not certain which trim your car originally shipped with, check your original window sticker, VIN decode, or the engine badge on the trunk lid opposite the ES300 script, since mismatched trim badging is a common giveaway on used luxury sedans that have had trim swapped over the years. Because we build each ES300 emblem to order rather than pulling from pre-made stock, we can also produce the ES330 or ES350 wording on the same MIXT finish and mounting profile if you decide a different trim designation better matches your car's actual engine and history.
