What the E230 Badge Represents

E230 is a Mercedes-Benz model designation historically used within the E-Class range to indicate a specific engine displacement, appearing on several generations of the E-Class sedan and wagon. The tailgate badge carrying this designation is a factory-style identifier that many owners like to replace or refresh over time. Decoinfabric produces this emblem as a custom, aftermarket 3D accessory - it is not manufactured or sold by Mercedes-Benz AG, and it is intended as a replacement or styling accessory rather than an official part.

Placement and Fitment Guidance

This emblem is designed for tailgate/trunk rear mounting in the "MIXT" 3D style. Because the E-Class has been produced across many generations (W124, W210, W211, W212, and beyond) with different tailgate curvatures and badge placements, confirm your exact E-Class generation and year when ordering so the backing can be sized to match.

Materials, Finish, and Mounting

The badge is built from durable automotive-grade material with a finish designed to resist fading and chipping under normal weather exposure. Mounting is done with automotive-grade adhesive tape sized to your E-Class tailgate curvature, allowing for a clean, drill-free installation.

Before Ordering

Confirm your E-Class generation and year, and whether the badge will replace an existing designation badge or be added fresh. If you want a different engine designation such as E300 or E350, or a matching grille badge, let us know and we can build accordingly.
