Power Liftgate Kits Compatible with MG

Power Liftgate Coverage Across the MG Range

MG vehicles are covered through individual model pages, each listing only the kit configurations listed for that specific vehicle. Tailgate size, mounting points and wiring differ enough between MG models that a single kit cannot serve the whole range, so always confirm fitment on the model page before ordering.

Choose Your MG Model

Use the selector above to reach your vehicle's dedicated page. Each linked page lists only the kit configurations listed for that specific MG model.

Available Power Liftgate Configurations

Available options vary by vehicle and product. Depending on the model, a kit may include automatic open and close operation, a foot-sensor trigger, or a soft-close function. Check the individual product page for the exact feature list of the kit you are considering.

Confirming Fitment Before You Order

To avoid ordering the wrong kit:

1. Find your MG model in the selector above.
2. Check the production years or generation confirmed on that model's page.
3. Match your vehicle's trim and tailgate configuration against the product listing.
4. Review the product page for the exact components included.
5. Contact us if your vehicle falls near a fitment boundary and you are unsure which kit applies.

Installation and Vehicle-Specific Wiring

Installation is vehicle-specific. Each kit includes mechanical components for the tailgate mechanism along with electrical wiring that connects to the vehicle's existing tailgate release and control circuits; depending on the kit, this can include running wiring through the tailgate and cabin and connecting a control module. Professional installation is recommended if the installer does not have automotive electrical experience.
