Mustang Running Horse Emblems and Show Props

Mustang Horse Emblems and Accessories

This collection mixes two product families around the same pony emblem: standard Ford Mustang badge hardware (grille-and-tailgate sets, PRO sets, fender badges, grille and tailgate emblems) and stainless steel show accessories - a hood prop and a set of door props - carrying the horse logo for car show or garage display use.

Choose the Right Mustang Horse Badge or Accessory

If you are refreshing exterior badging, the emblem sets and fender badges are the relevant picks. If you are building a show display or want a functional prop that doubles as branding, the stainless steel hood prop and door props are a different category entirely - they support an open hood or door rather than sitting flush as a badge.

Materials, Colors and Custom Options

Emblems are typically ABS with chrome, black or painted finishes; the hood and door props are stainless steel by design, built for durability under an open panel. Sizing and mounting details can be adjusted to your Mustang generation.

Before Ordering

Confirm your Mustang model year for emblem fitment, and measure your hood or door opening if ordering the show props, since prop length needs to match your vehicle. These are custom-made aftermarket products, not Ford-supplied parts.

FAQ

What is a hood prop used for? It is a rigid rod that holds the hood open, often chosen by car show owners as a branded display piece rather than relying on the factory prop rod.

Do the door props work the same way? Yes - they hold doors open for display, commonly used at car shows where doors are shown open alongside the hood.

Is this the same horse as the Dark Horse trim badge? No - this is the classic running-pony Mustang emblem, while Dark Horse is a separate modern trim badge covered in its own collection.
