The Mercedes-Benz GLK (X204) was Mercedes's first true compact SUV, produced from 2008 to 2015 before being replaced by the GLC. Available with 2.1L BlueTEC diesel (170-204 hp), 3.0L V6 petrol (231 hp), and 3.5L V6 (272 hp), plus 4MATIC AWD. The GLK 250 CDI was particularly popular in European markets for its exceptional 5.5L/100km fuel economy.
