The Alfa Romeo Stelvio is Alfa Romeo's first SUV in its modern era, launched in 2017 and based on the same Giorgio platform as the Giulia sedan. It shares the Giulia's 2.0L turbo (280 hp) and 2.9L V6 Biturbo engines, with the Stelvio Quadrifoglio producing 510 hp and reaching 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds - making it one of the fastest production SUVs ever at the Nurburgring. Despite its crossover body, the Stelvio offers a genuinely sporty driving experience with rear-wheel-drive architecture (AWD optional), carbon-ceramic brakes, and adaptive suspension borrowed from racing development.
