TIGUAN Logo LED-Kennzeichen-Emblem

What the Tiguan Wordmark Represents

Tiguan is Volkswagen compact SUV model line, one of its best-selling nameplates worldwide since launching in the late 2000s. The emblem in this collection recreates that wordmark as an illuminated LED license plate badge rather than a factory part. Decoinfabric builds this independently as an aftermarket accessory; it is not sold, sponsored or endorsed by Volkswagen AG.

Where This Emblem Fits

The badge is designed to mount around the rear license plate area on the Volkswagen Tiguan III and related generations, in a position that lights the plate recess while displaying the model wordmark. Because it is made to order, Decoinfabric can also build the same lettering as a tailgate badge instead of a license plate frame, and can adjust the design for other Volkswagen models such as Golf or Passat on request.

Materials, Finish and Illumination

Construction uses a durable ABS or metal-backed frame with an integrated LED lighting element wired for even illumination around the plate area, finished in chrome, gloss black or brushed silver. Mounting uses the existing license plate screw points, so no drilling into the body panel is required, and a wiring harness is included for connecting to your reverse or plate light circuit.

Before You Order

Confirm your Tiguan generation and rear plate mounting style before ordering, since license plate recess shapes vary between Tiguan model years. Let us know if you want a non-illuminated version or a different finish, and tell us if this is for a different Volkswagen model so we can adjust the fitment.

Craftsmanship, Lead Time and Guarantee

Every LED license plate badge in this collection is produced in-house by Decoinfabric rather than pulled from a mass-manufactured parts bin, which is what allows us to adjust the lettering, wire length or finish for your exact Tiguan generation before production starts. We use the same core materials across our LED plate badges - weather-resistant coatings, sealed wiring and a durable ABS or metal-backed frame - so quality and brightness stay consistent across every build. Most orders move from confirmation to production quickly, and we will reach out first if anything about your plate recess measurements looks unusual for your model. Because this is a made-to-order accessory rather than a stock part, double-check your rear plate mounting style against the reference photos on this page before checkout. If a badge does not sit correctly once it arrives, contact us and we will work with you on a resize, refinish or remake rather than leaving you with a part that does not fit your Tiguan.
