GTS Badge Origins

Nissan used the GTS designation on select Skyline, Silvia, and Bluebird trims in Japanese and export markets, generally denoting a grand-touring sport variant positioned below the flagship GT-R models. Related variants such as GTS-t (turbocharged) and GTS-R (homologation-focused) appeared on specific Skyline generations, adding to the naming's layered history. Because Nissan applied the GTS name to more than one model over multiple decades, this badge is offered as a general GTS-style grille emblem rather than tied to one specific car.

Fitment and Placement

The emblem mounts in the grille opening using adhesive backing and, where applicable, factory-style clip studs. Because grille shapes differ across Nissan models and years, confirm your hole spacing and opening size when ordering.

Materials and Finish

Available in chrome or black-finished ABS or metal-backed construction.

Before You Order

Specify your Nissan model and year, your preferred mounting style (adhesive-only or clip-plus-adhesive), and finish color.

A Note on Fitment Confirmation

Because GTS has appeared on different Nissan grille designs across decades and markets, the safest approach is to send us a photo of your current grille and any clip holes before we finalize the backing plate. This avoids the most common issue with reproduction JDM-style badges, which is a mounting pattern that almost, but not quite, lines up with the original clips.

Installation and Care

Clean the grille surface, test-fit the badge against any existing clip holes, and secure it with the supplied adhesive and clips where your grille design supports them. No wiring is involved with this non-illuminated badge, so installation is typically a 10 to 15 minute job. Keep the badge clean with a soft cloth and mild soap, and avoid abrasive pads that can dull the chrome or black finish over time.

Why Order a Custom Badge Instead of a Generic Grille Insert

Because GTS has been used across several different Nissan grille designs over the decades, a generic reproduction rarely lines up with clip holes or opening shapes on every model. Ordering to spec lets us match your specific Nissan's grille, choose the exact GTS lettering style, and pick a finish that suits your car rather than settling for a loose universal fit.
