Available Kit Configurations

Available options vary by vehicle and product. Depending on the version selected, the Cosmos kit may include automatic open and close operation, a foot-sensor trigger, or a soft-close function; check the individual product page for the exact configuration offered.

How the System Can Be Controlled

Selected kits support control through the original key fob, a tailgate button, or a driver-area button; a foot sensor may also be available depending on the configuration. Control methods depend on the selected kit and vehicle configuration.

Confirm Compatibility Before Ordering

Before ordering, confirm the production year or generation of your Cosmos, its trim, and the current tailgate configuration. This is especially important if your vehicle falls near a fitment boundary.

Installation Requirements

Installation on the Cosmos is vehicle-specific and can include electrical stays, a control module, wiring, buttons, and a lock or soft-close unit, depending on the kit. Not every kit includes all of these elements - check the product page for what is included with your selected version.
