The Mazda CX-3 is Mazda's subcompact crossover SUV, launched in 2015 on the Mazda2 DJ platform. Available with a 2.0L SKYACTIV-G (120 hp) or 1.8L SKYACTIV-D diesel (115 hp), the CX-3 punches well above its price class for interior quality and driving dynamics - consistent with Mazda's 'Jinba-Ittai' (horse and rider as one) driving philosophy applied to even the smallest models. The CX-3 GT Sport in Premium trim features Nappa leather seats, Mazda's G-Vectoring Control Plus for better cornering, and BOSE 8-speaker audio - features more typically found in cars costing 50% more. While succeeded by the CX-30 in many markets, the CX-3 continues in select markets as the entry-level Mazda crossover.
