The Mazda CX-9 is Mazda's full-size 7-seat SUV sold in North America and select international markets, produced since 2007 and currently in its 2nd generation (TC, 2016+). The CX-9 is powered by a 2.5L SKYACTIV-G turbocharged inline-4 (227-250 hp, with 310 lb-ft torque on premium fuel), making it the only 3-row mid-size SUV in its class with a standard turbocharged powertrain. The CX-9 Signature trim features Japanese Washi paper-inspired interior trim, Nappa leather, and a Bose Centerpoint 7-speaker surround system. Known for having the most driver-focused and elegant interior in the 3-row mid-size segment - rivaling ,000+ competitors at a lower price point. Mazda discontinued the CX-9 in 2023, succeeded by the CX-90 inline-6.
