The Skoda Yeti was Skoda's compact crossover SUV, produced from 2009 to 2017, and widely regarded as one of the best compact family cars ever made for its combination of interior versatility, practicality, and rugged styling. The Yeti (5L, 2009-2017) used the PQ35 VW platform with available 1.2 TSI (105 hp), 1.4 TSI (122 hp), 1.8 TSI (160 hp), and 2.0 TDI diesel (140 hp). The Yeti's removable rear seats (individual removal of each rear seat), clever storage solutions, and optional 4Motion AWD made it uniquely versatile. The Yeti Outdoor (2013 facelift) added protective body cladding and matte black exterior trim. The Yeti won the What Car? Car of the Year in the UK and was the German ADAC's most recommended compact SUV for multiple consecutive years. Replaced by the Karoq in 2017.
