The Mitsubishi ASX (RVR in Japan, Outlander Sport in the US) is Mitsubishi's compact crossover SUV, produced since 2010 and one of the brand's most globally sold models. The 1st generation ASX (GA0, 2010-2022) used a 1.6L MIVEC (117 hp), 2.0L MIVEC (150 hp), and 1.8L DI-D diesel (116-147 hp). The 2nd generation ASX (2022+) for European markets is actually a rebadged Renault Captur due to the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance - making it unusual as a Japanese-badged car of French engineering on a French platform. Available with 1.3T (158 hp mild hybrid) and 1.6 E-Tech PHEV (162 hp combined). The ASX has sold over 1.3 million units globally across its production run, and remains particularly popular in Australia, Latin America, and Europe.
